Dylan Lighthall

Actor

Dylan Lighthall

Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Dylan Lighthall was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina by Dennis and Martha Lighthall. From a young age, he found a strong interest in sports- but more importantly, sports reporting. He's always had a dream of being on television for ESPN or another network, and until he got to college, that was the goal. During his freshman year at Appalachian State University he discovered the Theatre. It was here he fell in love with the performing arts and all that come with it. He finished his degree at UNC-Charlotte and quickly found representation. In 2018, he transitioned to film and began studying at "The Actor's Lab" in Charlotte, North Carolina (there are 4 locations total: LA, Santa Barbara, Charlotte and Portland) founded by J.D. Lewis. He has studied under Pat Dortch and Bryan Pierce ever since. His first lead role was in "Finding It" by Grant Weaver, and he quickly followed that up with the lead role in "Its Night" in early 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he continued to work on his craft at The Actor's lab via Zoom, and in 2020, secured a strong supporting role in the feature "Water for the Root" as "Mikey". He also wrote, directed, edited and starred in his first film "Mutual" which was a finalist for "LabFest 2021". In 2021, Dylan wrote, directed and starred in two more films: "Invisible" and "What Lies Between". He continues to impress and grow in this industry, with so much more to come!
