Abke Haring won a Golden Calf Award for Best Actor at the Dutch Film Festival Utrecht 2024. She won this Award for her lead performance in the drama series Een van Ons, directed by Michiel van Erp.
She is a much acclaimed actor in The Netherlands and Belgium, who won the prestigious Theo d’Or award for her portrayal of Hamlet in Hamlet vs Hamlet in 2014. She starred in many plays for diverse theatercompanies like International Theater Amsterdam, Toneelhuis, NTGent and Frascati. She worked with Ivo van Hove, Guy Cassiers, Luk Perceval, Floor Houwink ten Cate and many more inspiring directors on stage. Abke also writes for theater and is known for her physical performances.
