Niccolò Fabi

Niccolò Fabi is one of the philosophers of Italian music. A multifaceted artist, graduated in Romance philology, is a boy who grows up in a musical environment. His father Claudio Fabi was both a record producer of the 70’s and drummer of a cover band of songs by “The Police”. Thanks to some performances in the Roman live clubs, he knows and collaborates Daniele Silvestri, Federico Zampaglione and Riccardo Sinigallia. We are in 1996 when the real success of Niccolò Fabi began with his first single Dica with Virgin (known record company), winning the following year the Critica Nuove Proposte Prize in the Sanremo Festival with the song “Capelli”.

Hence an escalation of successes. “Leaving a day in Rome”, “Summer Wind” (written together with Max Gazzè and among other things winning a “Disco for Summer”), “The antique shop”, “E’ non è”, “Offeso”, “Tomorrow 21 April” (one of the 55 artists to participate for the restoration after the earthquake in L’Aquila). He won a series of awards and awards of thickness such as the Targa Tenco in 2013 with his record “Ecco” voted by more than 200 journalists and music experts. the Zamenhof Prize in 2010, received for his music in favor of the poorest populations in Africa. the “Lunezia Prize of the Song of Author” received for the musical and literary thickness of his collection “A sum of small things”.
