Steven Laureys

Steven Laureys MD PhD is a neurologist and neuroscientist renowned for his expertise on consciousness and cognition, neuroplasticity and neuromodulation. He currently is Chairholder of the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Neuroplasticity at CERVO Brain Research Centre, U Laval, CANADA; Invited Professor at BIDMC, Harvard Medical School; Honorary Research Director at the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research and founder at U Liège where he founded the ‘Coma Science Group’ and ‘GIGA Consciousness Research Unit’. He is Co-Founder of BRAIN-NM NeuroModulation Clinics Antwerp and Amsterdam and Mind Care International Foundation.
