Kyosuke Mikami

Kyosuke Mikami, better known by his ring name El Desperado, is a Japanese professional wrestler who debuted in 2010 and is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). After joining Suzuki-gun in 2011, he established himself as one of the promotion's defining junior heavyweights, winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship five times, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship four times with Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship alongside Minoru Suzuki and Ren Narita.

Following the end of Suzuki-gun in 2022, El Desperado reached new heights by winning the 2024 Best of the Super Juniors after previously capturing the 2021 Super Junior Tag League with Kanemaru. His success has also earned him recognition outside Japan, ranking No. 39 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's PWI 500 in both 2022 and 2025.
