Andrey Sukhov was born on November 26, 1972, in Moscow.
After receiving his high school diploma in 1989, he enrolled in the acting faculty of the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio, where he was accepted into the class of People's Artist of Russia, Yuri Yeremin, who at different times was the chief director first at the Central Academic Theater of the Soviet Army, and then at the Moscow Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin.
