Asha Bhosle

Asha Bhosle was an Indian playback singer best known for her work in Hindi cinema. She has sung over 10,000 songs across 800+ films and is known for her versatility across genres such as classical, ghazals, pop, and Western-style music.

She began her singing career in the 1940s and rose to fame in the late 1950s through successful collaborations with music director O.P. Nayyar. She became one of the leading playback singers in Bollywood.
