Douglas 'Doug' Chapman is a Canadian stunt coordinator, stunt performer, actor, and director. He's also a member of Stunts Canada . He began both his acting and stunt work career in 1996 with the film Street Gun (1996). Since then, he worked continuously throughout film and television series, including Smallville (2001), Fantastic Four (2005) and Stargate: Atlantis (2004). He has been a stunt double for Kurt Russell, Dermot Mulroney, Jason Statham, Ryan Phillippe, Robert Englund, and Christian Slater. He has also performed stunts for many commercials, including precision driving for commercials for Honda and Chrysler. Notable acting roles include Sergeant Cole in Stargate Atlantis and Roy Chess in Watchmen. He has been involved with movies such as Freddy vs.
